Holiness was taught, but I never felt that I could live it. I have sought the Holy Spirit for many years. I cannot express how I feel in my heart. Some issues I have had for many years and have been quite miserable. Thank you so very much for minding the Holy Spirit. Since that day, I have had such peace.

Your obedience to the Lord and giving the "Chalk Talk" message yesterday morning sent the ladies from Trinity in Nashville home to begin a Revival and healing in our church last night. After true forgiveness in my heart on Saturday night, the Lord's Day brought me courage to ask my blood family for forgiveness.

I appreciated your manner for speaking to us about VERY important and personal matters without embarrassing anyone, as most of the really sensitive material was offered in prayer with eyes closed. This allowed me (and I think others) to speak intimately with my Father, but more importantly to listen quietly while the Holy Spirit spoke to me about spiritual things in my life that needed to be addressed.

I just attended the women's retreat this past weekend at Forest Home, and I just wanted to let you know that God truly spoke to my heart through you. I had some doors in my life that I was not opening up to God, and because those areas were painful for me, I rationalized it by telling myself that I could handle them on my own. Through you, I was able to see how destructive that was, and I made a firm commitment to surrender everything to Him. I must tell you, it was like a weight was lifted from my shoulders and a calmness had filled me that I had not experienced before. Even my husband and kids commented on how I was different when I came back. God is so good!!! Thank you for your encouragement and your prayers. God is truly using you in a powerful way.

I'd like to thank you for this morning. It gave me the courage to stay strong in my marriage. I've been married 13 years to a man I don't really like but we have three small children...he is religious but not spiritual. God has become my husband. Thanks for this weekend.
I woke today (Monday) as if from a dream...only to realize just how very real things were and are from the weekend. Wow, God just keeps working...WOW...I am awed. He is working in so many different capacities, too. Unbelievable.
God used you, Carolyn, in a mighty way to speak directly to needs you didn't know about. Isn't that just like God? He's so faithful. How I praise Him.
It is clear that your prayer warriors are behind you and make a difference! Most of the time I come away from retreats and the like, with pleasant memories and ideas, but I don't usually put the learning into practice. I suppose that's human nature. This time was very different for me--and I am so glad!
